[b]Launch of SDO rescheduled to Thursday[/b] The Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) and the Atlas V rocket that will carry it into space are being prepared for another launch attempt after an earlier try on Wednesday was scrubbed because of high winds. The launch window on Thursday, Feb. 11 runs from 10:23 a.m. to 11:23 a.m. EST. The weather forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of acceptable conditions.
